and Special Education.

Through her teaching experiences, especially her work with
kids and teens with behavior and learning challenges,
she discovered that art, music, writing, movement,
technology and puppetry were great tools
for not only educating,
but transforming thinking and behavior.

In her efforts to improve her ability to use
art, music, puppetry, technology,
and creative writing to help her students
she, herself, became an artist in many fields.

I am a Grade 5 teacher in Kingston, Ontario. Last Friday our school
participated in a fund raising activity - jump rope for heart - to raise
